Untethered Soul

Pain and suffering were the influencing teachers of the old races, and humanity learned much from them… but in the aquarian race, pain and suffering will be replaced by joy and striving.

The new age people prefer education over punishment . they prefer freedom over imposition.

It is amazing that those who are salves of the old age like to suffer and to cause suffering. Aquarian age children consciously suffer to alleviate the sufferings of others, but they are extremely cautious not to cause suffering.

For each great cycle we need different principles, and the aquarian age the principle is joy and striving. Joy gives greater wisdom than suffering. Suffering takes you to the portal of intuition, but joy carries you into Nirvanic consciousness.

Pain and suffering develop heart quality and purity. They develop thinking and shorten the path. Joy radiates the heart quality in selfless and sacrificial service.

Pain and suffering purify the vehicles, joy purifies the motives. Pain and suffering makes us think, find causes, and eliminate them, joy puts into action those causes which eliminate pain and suffering.

Suffering and pain are the teachers of average people. Joy and striving are the teachers of initiates and masters.

Due to the principle of suffering , many philosophies and religions put great emphasis on suffering.

We must realize that when joy and striving are not accompanied then there is the danger of calling activity the principle of suffering and pain.for a long time man will suffer and have pain, but it will decrease gradually as his joy increases and his striving becomes purer and more spiritual.

We must start to realize that man does not need to suffer in order to think and know. Essentially man is divine , joy and peace. Once this principle is activated in him, he will not need suffering. He will consciously pay his debts, he will tune himself with the energies of new age, he will work for the future and develop his pure reason and direct knowledge.

Man suffers because:
  • He violates the laws of nature due to his ignorance.
  • He does not live according to what he essentially is but, rather , according to what he is not.
  • He does not keep pace with the development of human affairs.
  • He depends on his mental deductions instead of intuitional insight.
  • He is identified with his lower vehicles.
  • He participates in the karma of a greater whole.
There are many levels and ways to learn, and the principle of pain awakens us to create understanding of life. we learn through conscious suffering.

Suffering is identification with the three lower vehicles of personality. Pain is registration of outer conditions. When a person is able not to identify with the conditions of his lower vehicles , te pain can turn into joy. If that pain is consciously invited and for greater goals. The pain of a mother while delivering her baby is a great joy. The pain of a hero while he sacrifices himself for his friends is a great joy.

PAIN AND SUFFERING ARE THE RESULT OF OUR IDENTIFICATION WITH THE STATES OF THE THREE VEHICLES OF THE PERSONALITY.

There are three kinds of suffering and pain:

Self – imposed , conscious suffering
Natural calamities
Man made pain and suffering such as wars, punitive methods, and crimes of all colors.
Self – imposed , conscious suffering is conscious striving and a process of mastery of life in the three worlds. Natural calamities and accidents are the results of our karma, through which the principle of pain and suffering works. Man made pain and suffering must be the first to be eliminated. This means the elimination of slavery of any kind, the elimination of fear, the elimination of exploitation, tyranny, and the elimination of ignorance.

We can work now for the elimination of these sources of suffering and pain because of for long ages we have learnt by pain and suffering and have developed a degree of heart quality which relates us with others. We have developed a certain degree of purity which makes us free from glamours and illusions.

It is very interesting to note that sometimes we know the right thing to do, but we do not want to do it. The mental realization is one thing, but the readiness to do the right thing is a totally different matter. Doing the right thing requires transformation of the vehicles and will power. Learning through humanly imposed suffering is an old age method. This kind of learning is like creating mechanical responses in the human mechanism to scare it from certain things that we do not want it to touch.

Learning should never be associated with physical pain and emotional or mental suffering. It is only these factors that create rejection of learning and consequent failure.

The new method is the method of deeper understanding and purer joy and scientific methods to improve the intelligence and heart quality of the students. We must teach not only how to stand above their suffering and pain as a detached observer-does, but also how not cause suffering to any other creature.

Hardships must not be confused with suffering. Hardships not only develop our physical muscles but also release the will power and prepare us for greater breakthroughs. However, when a hardship is not faced with the spirit of challenge and expectation and is not used as a means to keep you awake, alert, and in continuous motion you fall into self pity and suffer.

Striving and joy will first eliminate the man made causes of suffering, then they will create harmony with nature, and pain and suffering will come to an end.

New Age Seeker Groups

New age seeker groups are not devotees of personalities, devotees of selfish emotional interests, devotees of dogmas and doctrines, devotees of organizations or names. New age seeker groups are devotees of knowledge and the achievement of transformation, devotees of sacrificial service, and devotees of enlightenment.

New age seeker groups are bridges between the objective and subjective worlds. Their intention is to penetrate the mysteries of nature and the mysteries of energy and life and prepare a bridge for humanity to pass to a higher state of consciousness.

New age seeker groups are found in seven fields:

In the field of politics, they are groups of politicians who will discover new ways and means to create understanding and direction toward global, solar, and cosmic goals.

In the field of education, new age seeker groups will work to enlighten people to the reality of one life. They will work to reveal the wisdom of the ages hidden in each person and provide those ways and means through which people are able to discover and to be.

In the field of communication, new age seeker groups will build network of contact not only on physical level, but also eventually in the field of emotions and thoughts. Before too long, it will be possible to extend this network into the subjective world and be aware of the condition of those who passed away.

In the field of arts, the new age seeker groups will bring great beauty and devote itself to the task of:

a) Healing
b) Uplifting
c) Transforming
d) Putting into action the latent creative potentials in man

In the field of science, the new age seeker groups will devote their lives to understand the energy; the energy of light will be put to full use.

In the field of religion, new age seeker groups will emphasize infinity rather than anthropomorphic Gods.

In the field of economics, the new age seeker groups will solve the problems of ‘want’ through the laws of sharing. They will create a new exchange system which is not based on credit cards, but on a world currency. Control over money will never help people to progress on moral and spiritual paths.

The new age seeker groups will realize that life is service. The foundation of life is service. The process of life is service. The consummation of life is service. People will suddenly realize that the best thing they can do is to serve.

The great teachers will choose us not only for what we know and what we are, but also by how we serve, and how long and how well we served in the past. Service will be one of the greatest sciences taught in our schools and universities.

People who have no time for the group plan are not worthy to be promoted. Promotion requires sacrificial labor. Those who cannot labor but achieve high positions become hindering blocks, not only for the group but also for their own progress. Such people develop vanity and personal interests.

Positions which demand wisdom, knowledge, skill in action, impartiality, independence, sacrifice, endurance, solemnity, insight, and intuition cannot be granted by a general vote. New age seeker groups are created only for meditation and spiritual understanding and nothing else.

The Law that Unites and Sublimates

People sometimes achieve transformation in very interesting ways.

An artist passes through a desert, saw a young girl who had fallen into a ditch and was not able to climb out. The artist saved her. After a few days of traveling with each other, the girl fell in love with the artist. She was amazed that such a handsome man could exist, such a wise and gentleman could exist. For days they exchanged ideas and spoke about their dreams, achievements, and failures. When they reached the city, they went their separate ways.

They never saw each other again. But the girl began to think of him every minute with admiration and love. With such continuous thinking about the artist, the girl built a communication line between herself and him in a mental plane.

As the artist pursued his life of creativity, service and meditation, she in turn received continuous elevating vibrations, and her soul began to bloom and lead her towards spiritual heights. The story says that eventually, she built a centre of creative arts and acted as its leader, educating thousands of people.
Similar things happen to many men, to many women. They find the way of transformation in meeting a person who is more creative than they are.

Those who are self-bound, when they depart from their loved ones for some selfish reason, hate the other or crave for the other. Hatred creates the link and makes them contact each other on the inner planes to illuminate each other. Transformation is possible if one of them does not react to the hatred, but stays in the mood of peace and compassion. But hatred makes the brain consciousness turn off and not register the contacts carried out on higher levels.

Behind the accidents of life, a mysterious law is in action utilizing every crisis to transform people. One who hates eventually will serve the person in coming lives. But if both nourish love and think about each other in gratitude, they will eventually be co-workers in greater fields of responsibility.

Many people misuse their meetings with others for self-interest, manipulation, and even exploitation, and if they do not reach their goal, they hate the people and curse the moment they met them. But the law is so strange. Those who hate will meet each other in different ways and levels and they will be involved with each other until they dissolve their hatred. Those who love each other with feelings of gratitude will also meet each other again and again in greater fields of cooperation, creativity and leadership.

Hatred will lead them to each other through pain and suffering. Love will lead them to each other with joy and striving. This applies to groups, families, and nations.

The law leading to unification never fails. Year after year, the law brings conflicting parties closer. If we had the vision to see the action of this law throughout the schemes and chains, we would never lose a moment of cooperation with each other.

The Law of Leveling

There is a law in nature which may be called as the Law of Leveling. This law brings man and humanity to its true level of beingness.

If a man thinks he is more than his worth, he is exposed in some way to make him know what he really is. If a man thinks of himself as more than what he is in reality, some accident or experience forces him to know himself as he is. Nature tolerates an individual, a nation, or humanity to swell out of proportion. Then the swelling is taken away, and they discover the real size of their being.

The real beingness of a human being, a nation, or humanity is not in the showoff part, is not in outer phenomena, wealth, position, nor even might, but rather in the degree of actualization of virtues, love, and will power.

All other than the self is taken away from us by the law of leveling in cyclic operation. People, nations, and humanity do not fall beyond the level of their beingness. They cannot be stripped beyond their clothing, their plaster and make-up.

Cyclically this law washes away all the plastering and reveals things as they are.
It is very interesting to see the operation of this law in an individual, national and global life. It brings pain and suffering to those who are attached. In those who are detached, it causes enlightenment and expansion of consciousness. It also can been seen in relation to discoveries or theories.

A person enthusiastically advertises a product, but instead of 90% effectiveness or usefulness, it is demonstrated as having 5% effectiveness or usefulness.

A person writes about an exercise or discipline being 100% effective, but in reality, it shows 10% effectiveness. This is also a leveling process.

People say they love 100%, but life shows that they care only a small percentage, or do not love at all.
The tests and crises and temptations of the law bring us down to our real level where we see exactly what we are.

Those leaders who understand human nature can sense the cycle of leveling and warn people to come to their senses, but often the masses do not listen and so merge into the chaos of leveling.

Logic, Reason and Common Sense

An initiate or an advanced disciple cannot be controlled or led by emotions but only pure reason or higher logic.

There is a difference between logic and pure reason. Logic is related to yourself, to laws and rules, or to your interests; it is some degree of rationalization. It is an accommodation, appropriation, or negotiation. But pure reason is seeing the facts from impersonal, non-separative viewpoint in the light of the spiritual triad.

Logic is related to time and conditions; pure reason is not limited by time or any conditions. Positive emotions, great aspiration, and clear thinking build the shield in us around us.When you are in negative emotions your astral body is on fire.

Eighty percent of the time our emotions control our mind and use it for their own ends. That is why advertising appeals to emotions, not logic. Refine your reason. Develop your faculty of reason, your capacity to think logically and be objective. Look at life beyond your emotional and subjective filters to see what is true in front of you now. Used properly, the intellect is a powerful tool of awareness that supports your soul’s evolution. It is the channel through which you view the world and interpret it.

Nothing supports your intuitive consciousness and spiritual development more thoroughly than a sharp, analytical, rational mind- one that observes carefully, records accurately, and distills information properly.
Problems arise when you confuse objective reason with illogical or automatic conclusions, biases, and assertions- or with other people’s opinions. This is a common error.

Reason becomes blocked when you react emotionally to a situation. Detach from your feelings and study facts before you respond. Armed with sound and accurate information, you can change any circumstance and send it in a new direction. Without such data, you are powerless.

To develop sound objective thinking skills, carefully observe your world without bias. De aware of your tendency to cloud your intellect by approaching situations or other people while holding strong projections that distort the truth.

Sound reason can only be cultivated with an open mind. A closed mind is death to your creative power. The ego can become so rigid and fixed in its perceptions that it unreasonably filters out the truth of the current situation emerging information.

Apply the lesson:
---- if you are an emotional hothead or a leaky faucet of tears; seldom accurately remember the details about people, places, or events; take everything personally and wonder why the world can be so cruel; find yourself stuck in one drama after another, each with a similar scary theme; react without thinking; rush forward too quickly; and make premature judgments more often than not…then you are a student in learning this lesson.

---- If you are highly sensitive to people and things and shut down easily; get your feelings hurt readily; carry other’s perspectives way too heavily in your heart; hesitate before you speak and try to think things through before you act, but often fail to see another’s point of view; or keep a journal and are considering seeing a therapist to gain deeper perspective… then you are an apprentice.

---- if you never make a decision in haste, but rather take the time to learn all you can before moving forward; call trusted friends and supportive advisors to help you sort through problems when you are not thinking clearly; pay keen attention to people, places and objects and have a sharp eye for detail; pause to consider before reacting, preferring to talk things over when you are calm; or wait for answers to come to you after learning all you can about something…then you are an journeyman.

---- if you have a nearly photographic memory; observe beyond the surface and feel as though you have insight into things; refrain from drawing conclusions and deciding what to do until you get all the necessary information, sort it out, and sleep on it; have an open mind and are always willing to learn more, especially in those areas in which you consider yourself quite knowledgeable; or pray, meditate, and wait for guidance from your Higher Self…then you are on your way to mastering this soul lesson.

If You Are a Student

  • Slow down and calm down
  • Get more information and make certain that your sources are objective and reliable before drawing conclusions.
  • Notice as many details as you can when you are engaged with people or are in new places.
  • Breathe, take a walk or a bath, and relax when you are overly emotional.

If You Are an Apprentice

  • Join a support group of some kind to get feedback and new perspectives.
  • Open your mind and be willing to see beyond your own point of view.
  • Search out your blind spots by studying recurring problems with the help of teachers, therapists, and unbiased friends.
  • Get your vision checked, have your glasses repaired, and learn exercises to improve your eye muscles.
  • Strive to observe new things and more detail about familiar people and places every day.
If You Are a Journeyman

  • Ask your Higher Self to reveal your blind spots and raise your awareness.
  • Do physical and meditative exercises for several minutes a day.
  • Count to ten and breathe through dramas and life challenges rather than giving in to them.
  • Ask questions, do research, or take a class to find out all you can about a situation, a recurring problem, or an area of creative interest.
  • Find trusted life advisors who will listen and help you sort through all the information you gather to get to the clearest, most accurate picture possible.
  • Once you have researched and organized your data, turn to you Inner Wisdom for the definitive answer or solution.
If You Are on Your Way to Mastering the lesson…

  • Read new books about old and favorite subjects.
  • When you have a conversation, take in every detail with both your head and heart and ask for more information whenever our spirit suggests it.
  • Take regular periods of alone time to ponder, digest, and sort through what you have learned.
  • Ultimately turn everything over to your Higher Self for a final decision.

Even When at Various Stages.

WHAT IS COMMON SENSE?
Common sense means paying attention to the obvious. This is not as easy as it sounds. We all have vivid imaginations, and we tend to get lost in our fantasies.

When fantasy replaces common sense, life becomes farcical and even tragic. Life is a series of ordinary events that follow the laws of logic and probability. These ordinary events are indifferent to our fantasies and require the careful, accurate navigation of common sense.

KNOWLEDGE + COMMON SENSE  = WISDOM
KNOWLEDGE - COMMON SENSE = NONSENSE
