Dear Readers: The Great Invocation is an endless resource of study and meditation. Every year during the Aries, Taurus, and Gemini full moons, we specifically focus on studying the Great Invocation. In this post, we want to share very simple and brief, yet deeply intriguing, information on the multiple layers of meaning in the Great Invocation. See if you can intuit the the many layers of communication and interconnection that results from saying this mantram:
To inspire humanity and to put a constructive tool in its hands, the Hierarchy gave humanity the Great Invocation. The Great Invocation had been used in the Hierarchy for many ages when it was given in 1945 to a small group of humanity. Since then, it has spread all over the world, and today it is spoken in hundreds of languages.

The Great Invocation is built on the geometry of the number nine. Man has within him light, love, and the power of direction. When you say the Great Invocation, the first thing you do is coordinate your system. You synthesize, or pull together, three of your main centers and create a projection of light into space. When you say, “Let Light and Love and Power, restore the Plan on Earth,” you are the earth and you invoke the throat, heart, and head centers within you. You also synthesize and integrate the three planetary centers — humanity, Hierarchy, and Shamballa.
From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.
From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.
From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men —
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.
From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.
